Texworld New York City: Coming to the Javits Center in 2026!
Texworld New York City, the largest textile and apparel sourcing trade show on the East Coast, is returning to the Javits Center in January after its successful summer shows in New York and Los Angeles. The event, which will run January 20–22, will be co-located with Apparel Sourcing New York City and Printsource, broadening the sourcing experience.
The showcase connects global textile manufacturers, fabric sourcing companies, and sustainable fabric suppliers with buyers from across the American market. A variety of textile and fabric industries will be represented at the show, including adult and children’s apparel, bed and bath, kitchen and tabletop, paper goods and stationery, wall coverings, and window fashions.
Exhibitors (suppliers) will gain increased visibility for their unique designs and products in front of decision-makers, designers, and industry influencers actively seeking fresh prints and textiles to enhance their collections. Texworld NYC attracts professionals from around the globe, such as apparel fabric buyers, product developers, designers, and merchandisers.
For reference, Texworld’s summer showcase in New York summer show brought in 423 international exhibitors from 26 countries. Six countries, including Taiwan, had dedicated “country pavilions.”
The environment at Texworld showcases provides a vibrant hub for networking and promotes the formation of lasting partnerships. Texworld NYC is also the “ultimate hub” for ethical and sustainable fabric sourcing, as well as cutting-edge solutions in the textile and garment industry. Exhibitors and visitors (buyers) alike can attend seminars, panel discussions, and workshops led by industry pioneers. Topics covered in “Textile Talks,” for example, include sustainable fabric sourcing, emerging trends, consumer behavior, innovations in the textile industry, and best practices to stay ahead of the competition. At the same time, the Industry Insight Series will discuss the future of fashion with insights from McKinsey & Co.
Exhibitors will also benefit from Texworld’s extensive pre-show marketing and on-site promotions designed to draw attendees their booths. In addition, exhibiting companies can participate in “Exhibitor Pitch” sessions. These direct presentations, which take place live on the floor throughout all three days, introduce buyers to products in a fast and efficient way.
Exhibitor registration for the showcase is ongoing. Taiwanese printing and textile companies looking to connect with American buyers should take advantage of this unique opportunity specifically geared to international suppliers. Even more, Taiwanese suppliers have received heightened publicity at recent Texworld events, and the Taiwan Textile Federation (TTF) is a showcase partner. Finally, it’s worth noting that the textile associations for China, India, and South Korea are also Texworld NYC partners. Taiwanese firms should be aware of this competition.
